Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS): We are part of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, ensuring our Landlords and Tenants are covered at all times throughout the letting process.
The Property Ombudsman: The Property Ombudsman are able to consider disputes referred by landlords or tenants and relating to lettings and management agents that are members of the Scheme. These agents follow the TPO Code of Practice for Letting Agents.
Note that disputes relating to repayment of deposits paid by tenants and which are protected by an approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme should be referred to the relevant deposit protection scheme.
Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA): As part of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), and accredited to the London Rental Standard you can be assured of our high standards and integrity. Farrell Lewis is proud members of ARLA (the Association of Residential letting Agent) meaning we must adhere to follow their Strict guidelines. These standards ensure we provide you with the best practice, guidance and service possible. In addition to this each member of our letting team undergo intensive training and coursework to pass their ARLA technical awards exam in Residential lettings and property management. This give our clients the peace of mind that whoever they work speak to will be an expert in the industry.
Residential Sales Professional Body Memberships
The Property Ombudsman: By dealing with a Member of The Property Ombudsman (TPO), the public may be confident about the agent's approach in its dealings with actual and potential buyers and sellers of residential property or lettings in the UK. The Property Ombudsman's role in residential sales is to provide fair and reasonable resolutions to disputes between members of the public and estate agents who are members of the TPO Scheme or who have registered with TPO as an Approved Estate Agents Redress Scheme. Firms who are members follow the TPO Code of Practice for Residential Sales.
